Instagram integration

Customer enquiries and responses

SarApply is a travel and immigration business. Its Instagram assistant is used only for an account that SarApply owns or manages. It does not connect to or manage Instagram accounts for other businesses.

How an interaction works

  1. A person comments on SarApply's content or sends SarApply a direct message.
  2. The assistant checks whether the interaction matches a configured phrase.
  3. SarApply publishes one relevant public, private, or direct-message response.
  4. Duplicate, expired, self-generated, and unrelated events are ignored.

The assistant does not initiate conversations, scrape profiles, make automated immigration decisions, or act on unrelated content.

Instagram permissions used

instagram_business_basic
Identifies the connected business account and its owned media so events are restricted to the authorized account.
instagram_business_manage_comments
Receives and responds to comments on the business's own Instagram media, including a private reply only when Instagram permits it.
instagram_business_manage_messages
Receives and responds inside a conversation initiated by an Instagram user. No unsolicited or bulk messages are sent.
